Photo2Sketch is a simple program that will turn your usual photos into designs imitating sketches.It creates pencil/pen drawings of your photographs. I tried it and was pleasantly happy with it. Sometimes you have to play with precision and line slider parameters. The quality of sketches is very good. The program is very limited in functionality but serves its functions.
They have paid version which has more functionalities but for starters like me free version is ok.
